The Small Changes Project team organized a focus group in Lebanon, at the Samir Kassir Foundation offices, to discuss with local artists the best ways to adapt Freemuse’s digital toolkit to the MENA region.

The artists got familiarized with their digital rights, reviewed the toolkit, and expressed the need to add tools to help them protect their online presence and work, in addition to some legal resources to assist them in case of artistic rights violations.

The second focus group that aims to discuss the adaptation of Freemuse’s digital toolkit to the MENA region took place via Zoom with Jordanian artists.

The participants stressed on the necessity of digital literacy in today’s world, shared with us their experiences in the cultural and artistic sector in Jordan, and gave us their extensive feedback and comments on the toolkit
